The Certificates page allows you to monitor Apple certificate health across your connected Intune tenants. It helps you identify certificates that are healthy, approaching expiry, or already expired so you can take action before Apple device management is affected.
Eido tracks certificate status and expiry information centrally, making it easier to review certificate health across customers and tenants without checking each environment individually.
What the Certificates Page Shows
The Certificates page displays tracked Apple certificate records and their current status.
Each row includes details such as:
Status
Customer
Tenant Name
Certificate Type
Certificate Expiry
This allows you to quickly see which certificates are healthy and which may require attention.
Certificate Types Tracked by Eido
Eido can surface Apple certificate records used in device management scenarios.
Examples shown in the Certificates page include:
Apple Push Notification Cert Expiry
Apple VPP Cert Expiry
Apple Enrolment Cert Expiry
These certificate types are important for Apple device enrolment, app distribution, and ongoing device management.
Understanding Certificate Status
Certificate health is displayed using status indicators so you can quickly identify items that need attention.
Typical statuses include:
Healthy - the certificate is valid and not currently in a warning or critical state
Unhealthy - Medium - the certificate requires attention soon
Unhealthy - High - the certificate is in a critical state and may already be expired or close to expiry
This makes it easy to prioritise certificate-related issues across your environment.
Filtering Certificates
The Certificates page includes filtering options to help you focus on the records you need.
You can filter by:
Status
Customer
Intune Tenant
Certificate Type
These filters are useful when reviewing a large number of tenants or focusing on certificates that are in a warning or critical state.
Viewing Certificate Details
To view more information about a certificate, click the certificate record in the list.
This opens a details pane showing the certificate data available in Eido.
Depending on the certificate, this may include fields such as:
AppleIdentifier
Token Name
Token Type
Token Expiration Date
Last Sync Time
Last Successful Sync Time
Last Sync Error Code
Role Scope Tag IDs
This view is useful when investigating certificate metadata or checking additional technical details.
Why Certificate Monitoring Matters
Apple certificates are required for important management functions such as device enrollment, push notifications, and app distribution.
If one of these certificates expires, Apple device management may be disrupted. Monitoring certificate status in Eido helps you identify potential problems early and respond before services are affected.
