The Device Details view in Eido provides a complete, device-level overview of health, compliance, applications, and configuration. It allows you to quickly investigate issues and understand the current state of any device across your environment.
Accessing Device Details
To view a device:
Navigate to Endpoints
Locate the device in the list
Click on the device name
This opens the Device Details panel.
Device List Overview
The Endpoints page shows all devices across your environment, including key status indicators for each device.
You can quickly assess device health using:
Compliance
Configuration
Applications
Patch status
Last Intune sync
These are displayed using clear status indicators (green, amber, red), allowing you to identify issues at a glance.
Device Summary
At the top of the Device Details view, you’ll see a summary of the device:
Device name and user
Customer and Intune tenant
Last sync time
Compliance status
Patch status
Warranty status
This gives an immediate understanding of the device’s overall health.
Navigating Device Information
The Device Details view is organised into tabs, each focusing on a different aspect of the device:
Details – core device properties and information
Patches – OS and update status
Compliance – compliance policies and results
Config Policies – configuration policy status
Managed Apps – apps deployed via management
All Apps – full inventory of installed applications
These tabs allow you to move between different areas of investigation without leaving the device view.
Investigating Device Data
Each section within the tabs can be expanded to reveal more detail.
Depending on the area you are viewing, you can:
View device properties such as OS version and ownership
Review patch history and installation status
Check compliance results and assignments
Explore configuration policies applied to the device
See managed applications and their deployment status
View all installed applications and versions
Understanding Status Indicators
Eido uses clear visual indicators to show device state:
Green - healthy / compliant
Amber - warning or partial issue
Red - unhealthy or non-compliant
These indicators appear both in the device list and within each tab, helping you quickly identify where attention is needed.
Using Device Details for Troubleshooting
The Device Details view is designed to support investigation and troubleshooting by bringing all relevant information into a single place.
From here, you can:
Identify why a device is non-compliant
Check whether required updates are installed
Confirm configuration policies are applied correctly
Review installed applications and versions
Understand overall device health in context
Thresholds are configured at the tenant level.
