The Device Overview in Eido provides a high-level summary of a device’s identity, status, and overall health. It is designed to give you immediate visibility into whether a device is healthy, compliant, and up to date.
What the Device Overview Shows
When you open a device, the top section provides a summary of key information:
Device name and primary user
Customer and Intune tenant
Last sync time
Compliance status
Patch status
Warranty status
This allows you to quickly assess the device without needing to navigate deeper.
Understanding Device Health at a Glance
Eido uses clear visual indicators to represent device health:
Green – healthy or compliant
Amber – warning or partial issue
Red – unhealthy or non-compliant
These indicators are shown directly in the overview, helping you quickly identify devices that require attention.
For example:
A Non-Compliant device will be highlighted in red
A Patch issue may show as amber depending on severity
Device Identity and Context
The overview also provides important context about the device:
Customer – which organisation the device belongs to
Intune tenant – where the device is managed
User – who the device is assigned to
This is particularly useful when managing multiple customers or tenants.
Last Sync Information
The Last Sync field shows when the device last communicated with Intune.
This helps you determine:
Whether device data is up to date
If a device may be offline or inactive
Whether delays in status updates are expected
For example, a device that has not synced recently may not reflect its current state.
Compliance Status
The Compliance Status indicates whether the device meets defined compliance policies.
Compliant – device meets all required policies
Non-Compliant – one or more policies are failing
This status is derived from Intune and surfaced clearly in Eido.
Patch Status
The Patch Status shows whether the device is up to date with required updates.
Examples include:
Healthy – all required patches installed
Unhealthy – missing or failed updates
This helps you quickly identify devices that may be at risk due to missing updates.
Warranty Status
The Warranty Status provides insight into the device lifecycle:
Active / Valid – device is within warranty
Expired – device is out of warranty
Unknown – warranty information is not available
This is useful for planning replacements and managing hardware risk.
Why the Device Overview Matters
The Device Overview is designed to answer key questions instantly:
Is this device healthy?
Is it compliant with policies?
Is it up to date with patches?
Is the data current?
Who owns and manages the device?
By bringing this information together, Eido allows you to quickly prioritise actions and investigations.
Thresholds are configured at the tenant level.
