Eido provides visibility into a device’s warranty status, helping you understand its lifecycle and identify potential hardware risks.
Viewing Warranty Status
The Warranty Status is shown at the top of the Device Details view.
It indicates whether the device is:
Active – within warranty
Expired – no longer covered
Unknown – warranty data not available
Supported Warranty Providers
Eido currently supports Dell warranty data only.
Devices from other manufacturers will show Unknown warranty status
Why Warranty Matters
Warranty status helps you quickly assess device risk and lifecycle stage:
Expired devices may be more prone to failure
Active devices are still supported and replaceable
Unknown status may indicate unsupported manufacturer or missing data
Using Warranty in Practice
Warranty information helps you:
Prioritise device replacements
Identify ageing hardware across your estate
Support lifecycle and budgeting decisions
Warranty thresholds are configured at the tenant level.
