The Apps page provides a central view of all applications discovered across your connected Intune tenants.
It allows you to understand what software is installed across your device estate, helping identify commonly used applications, unsupported software, and potential risks.
What the Apps Page Shows
The Apps page displays a list of discovered applications across your environment.
Each row represents an application and includes key details such as:
Tenant Name – the Intune tenant the application was discovered in
Application Name – the name of the application
Publisher – the software publisher
Platform – the operating system (e.g. Windows)
Versions – the number of versions detected
Total Installs – how many devices have the application installed
License Usage % – percentage of license usage (where applicable)
This view gives you a quick overview of application distribution across all managed devices.
Searching and Filtering Applications
You can quickly find specific applications using the search and filtering tools available on the page.
Use the search bar to locate applications by name
Use Add Filter to refine results based on available criteria
Filtering helps you focus on relevant applications, especially in environments with a large number of installed apps.
Viewing Application Details
Selecting an application from the list opens a detailed view.
This provides additional information such as:
the customer and tenant the app belongs to
the minimum and maximum versions detected
a breakdown of devices by version
a list of devices where the application is installed
This view is useful for understanding how widely an application is deployed and whether multiple versions exist across your environment.
Understanding Application Distribution
The Apps page helps you answer important questions such as:
Which applications are most widely installed?
Are multiple versions of the same application in use?
Are there applications installed that should not be present?
Which tenants or customers are affected?
This makes it easier to manage software across your environment and identify areas that may require attention.
Exporting Application Data
Where available, you can export application data using the Export option.
This allows you to:
analyse application data outside of Eido
share information with other teams
create custom reports (Check out Eido's Query Hub for custom report building)
Why Use the Apps Page
The Apps page gives you visibility into your software estate without needing to query each tenant individually.
By centralising application data, Eido helps you:
monitor software usage across devices
identify inconsistencies in application versions
support compliance and standardisation efforts
improve overall device management visibility
